Am Law 200 firm adds lawyers across its offices in the Northeast

Robinson+Cole welcomes 13 new lawyers who joined the firm over the last several months in its offices in Connecticut, Florida, Massachusetts, and New York. The lawyers bring additional breadth to a number of our corporate practices, including business transactions, data privacy, employee benefits and compensation, finance, health law, labor and employment, insurance and reinsurance, real estate and development, and tax.

Michael B. Kaufman (Tax, Counsel) – Mr. Kaufman focuses his practice in the area of domestic and international tax matters. He has extensive experience with mergers and acquisitions, tax-free reorganizations, stock purchases and sales, asset purchases and sales, debt and equity offerings, and various corporate tax matters. Additionally he has experience with international tax matters, including representing clients in structuring international joint ventures and structuring cross-border transactions. Mr. Kaufman earned his LL.M. from New York University School of Law, his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania School of Law, and his B.A., cum laude, from Columbia University. He is admitted to practice law in New York and the District of Columbia.

Cara A. Bilotta (Business Transactions, Associate) – Ms. Bilotta’s practice involves all aspects of corporate and transactional law, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital transactions, securities law and compliance, and general corporate matters. She earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from Brooklyn Law School and her B.A., magna cum laude, from Vanderbilt University. She is admitted to practice law in New York.

Carrie C. Turner (Insurance + Reinsurance, Associate) – Ms. Turner focuses her practice on breach of contract, first- and third-party insurance coverage disputes, coverage analysis, cyber liability, property damage claims, environmental and contamination loss, breach of fiduciary duty, bad faith, and other extracontractual claims litigation. Prior to joining Robinson+Cole, Ms. Turner clerked for the Honorable Boyce F. Martin Jr. on the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. She earned her J.D. from Boston University School of Law and her B.F.A. from the University of Louisville. She is admitted to practice law in New York and Kentucky.

Anna Jinhua Wang (Business Transactions, Associate) – Ms. Wang focuses on corporate and securities law, with an emphasis on representing companies looking to enter the U.S. capital market, and core competencies in regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and private and public financings, including PIPEs. She has years of experience working within the constructs of the Securities Act of 1933, the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, Blue Sky Laws, and rules of various markets and exchanges. She earned her LL.M. from Vanderbilt Law School and her LL.B. from Durham Law School. She is admitted to practice law in New York.

Erica S. Youngerman (Health Law, Associate) – Ms. Youngerman focuses her practice in the areas of health law and health care business transactions. She regularly advises clients with business operations on contracting, corporate formation and structuring, and corporate governance documentation. Ms. Youngerman has experience performing regulatory analysis of proposed and existing corporate structures, relationships, and agreements to assess their compliance with state and federal laws and regulations. She also has experience representing individual health care professionals. She earned her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and her B.A. from Emory University. She is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey.
