San Francisco-based shipping solutions provider Shippo has raised $7 million in Series A funding, according to a blog post on its site. Union Square Ventures led the round with participation from SoftTech VC, Version One Ventures and others. In conjunction with the funding, Albert Wenger, a partner at USV and an early investor in Twilio, has joined Shippo’s board.
