Xerox (NYSE:XRX) is a company that is labeled by the public as a "has-been." Having first experienced tremendous success after its introduction of the first copying machines, the business hasn't been able to make new waves with newer products and is generally lumped in with companies like Kodak (NYSE:KODK).
This comparison is patently untrue as Xerox has changed from a capital intensive manufacturer to a capital-lite business services corporation. The misunderstandings about the company are manifold but the main ones I want to highlight are as follows.
