Paragon Public Relations, an award-winning full-service communications firm, has appointed Guy Taylor as Global Director of Public Relations. In his new role, Guy will be responsible for client relationship management, PR strategy and execution, and new business development.

Taylor previously worked at ICAP (now Nex Group), the world’s leading Interdealer Broker, where for over nine years he was responsible for the Americas communications and public relations duties for the group’s electronic, hybrid and voice trading systems, post-trade groups, market data and other units. He joins Paragon at a time of global expansion, with offices in the US and UK providing PR and marketing support to a growing roster of financial services and fintech clients.

“Guy is an excellent addition to the Paragon team. “I’m excited to be joining Simon and his team. Paragon is at the forefront of providing relevant and impactful communications, public relations, and marketing services to the financial services community, and I look forward to helping our clients achieve their communications objectives,” said Taylor.

As well as his roles at ICAP and NYBOT, Taylor has also held public relations positions at UNICEF USA, Golin/Harris Public Relations, The White House, and the US House of Representatives. He holds an MBA from Fordham University, an MA in Political Science from Catholic University, and a BA in Political Science from Hampden-Sydney College.
