Dentons, the global law firm, today announces the arrival of Alice Yurke as partner in its Capital Markets practice. She is the sixth lawyer with a financial practice to join the Firm's New York office in the past weeks.
Yurke provides strategic counsel to clients offering or seeking structured and derivative products. Her practice encompasses many aspects of the derivatives industry, including equity and credit, hedge fund, foreign exchange and commodity-linked structures in the US and offshore markets. Yurke advises clients on a variety of products, whether standalone or in the context of a lending, acquisition or other transaction. She also works in leveraged finance and advises clients on risk-based capital, as well as bankruptcy and workout-related issues in derivatives and loan transactions.
In addition, Yurke serves as a trusted adviser to banks, broker-dealers, hedge funds and corporations to create effective solutions for navigating the various regulatory hurdles that impact their business, including regulatory concerns arising under Dodd-Frank.
