Howard Krupat Inducted as a Fellow into the Canadian College of Construction Lawyers

DLA Piper (Canada) LLP congratulates partner Howard Krupat on being inducted as a Fellow into the Canadian College of Construction Lawyers. Howard was invited to become a Fellow following the unanimous decision of the Board of Governors of the College. Howard received this honour at the annual general meeting, which took place in Banff from May 31 to June 3.

The purpose of the College is to facilitate and encourage the association of outstanding lawyers who are distinguished for their skill, experience and high standards of professional and ethical conduct in the practice or teaching of construction law and who are dedicated to excellence in the specialized practice of Construction Law.

Howard is a leading practitioner in construction law and has extensive experience as lead counsel on complex construction disputes. He regularly speaks at conferences on construction law in addition to devoting a substantial amount of time to industry and professional associations. He is a former Chair of the Construction & Infrastructure Law Section Executive of the Ontario Bar Association and was recently appointed to the Advisory Panel for the Province of Ontario’s Construction Lien Act Review. Howard is recognized by leading lawyer ranking guides including Chambers Canada, Who’s Who Legal, Best Lawyers in Canada, the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory and the Lexpert® ALM 500 Directory.
