Andersen Tax Announces the Promotion of Ten Managing Directors

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Andersen Tax is proud to announce the promotion of 10 Managing Directors across five offices and various service lines nationwide. Andersen Tax is the founding member of Andersen Global, an international association of member firms with over 3,500 professionals worldwide and nearly 500 global Partners. As of January 1, 2019, Andersen Tax will have over 150 Managing Directors in 19 locations throughout the U.S.

Andersen Tax promoted five individuals to its team in San Francisco and Silicon Valley respectively, including Rachel Caldwell, Emerson DuBois, Jonathan Hilton, Brendan Love, and Laura Wylie (based in Silicon Valley). Rachel is a part of the Private Client Services (PCS) practice and has over 11 years of experience in tax compliance and consulting for high net worth individuals. Emerson, also a part of the same practice but specializing in international work, provides U.S. tax services to resident and non-resident aliens, multi-jurisdictional families and U.S. tax payers with foreign investments. Jonathan will also join as a new Managing Director in the PCS practice as he excels in supervising and reviewing the preparation of tax returns for multi-national high net worth individuals, partnerships, trusts, S corporations, estates and gifts.

In the Valuation and Commercial practice groups, Andersen Tax also added to its team Brendan Love and Laura Wylie. Brendan has over 13 years of experience and is considered a national resource on investment fund portfolio and carried/profits interest valuations. Laura has over 18 years working in the commercial and international tax space, where she brings a depth of understanding client technical issues.

Andersen Tax also promoted four individuals in New York Metro, including Chris Carreira, Athena Kalogiannis, Steve Madsen and Howie Spitz. In the Greenwich office, Chris joins the PCS team with over 10 years of experience in tax compliance and consulting for individuals, partnerships, private equity funds and tax-exempt entities. Athena holds strong technical skills in the PCS area including trusts, partnerships, tax-exempt entities and estate/gift taxation and works with many hedge fund and private equity principals. Steve is part of the US National Tax (USNT) practice and has over 36 years of experience in areas ranging from consolidated income tax returns to bad debt/worthless security losses to installment sales. Howie joins as a Managing Director in the Commercial practice with the unique experience of having worked in many service line areas offered at the firm: PCS, family office, cross-border issues, charitable giving, partnerships and corporations.

Jessica Hawn was also promoted as a Managing Director in the USNT practice. Based in Chicago, she delivers accounting methods and periods technical expertise and takes USNT client service to the next level with a hands-on approach and client service orientation.
