The selection process employs a rigorous methodology that includes nearly 1000 partner surveys and client interviews. The annual LMG Life Sciences Awards, held this year on September 12, are the culmination of this extensive research process.

A leading intellectual property litigator, mediator and arbitrator, Ron has been counsel in the Supreme Court of Canada on some of the country’s most significant cases in patents, trade-marks, and copyright. Ron has participated in more patent trials and more appeals from patent trials than any other lawyer in Canada, and has managed more than 400 different patent disputes in his career. Ron speaks regularly at conferences on intellectual law matters to members of the profession, the public, and the judiciary, and has authored many leading industry publications on civil litigation, and intellectual property law and disputes.
