Pashman Stein Walder Hayden announced today that Howard Pashman has joined the firm as an associate. Pashman was previously with Karlin Associates LLC in Chicago. His father, Louis Pashman, co-founded the firm with Michael Stein 23 years ago.
Pashman’s practice focuses on commercial litigation including breach of fiduciary duty, breach of contract, common law fraud, wage claims, premises liability, quiet title actions, commercial foreclosures, commercial landlord/ tenant matters, and construction disputes.

Pashman earned a joint J.D. and Ph.D. in History from Northwestern University, along with a M.A. in History and B.A. in History, cum laude.In addition, he earned a M. Phil. from the University of Cambridge, Clare College.
Following law school, Pashman served as the Jerome Hall Postdoctoral Fellow in Law and Society at the Maurer School of Law at Indiana University. Prior to attending law school, Pashman interned with the Hon. Peter Doyne, Presiding Judge, Chancery Court of Bergen County Vicinage. He subsequently taught history at Northwestern University and then served as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of History at the University of Notre Dame.
