Eric Falkenberry, a partner based in DLA Piper’s New York office, has been named a Law360 Data-Driven Lawyer for 2018. The award recognizes five lawyers who are using data and analytics to come up with new ways to meet the challenges of their practice.

Falkenberry focuses on the assessment, quantification and transfer of litigation risk through data mining, predictive modeling, and litigation analytics, with a particular emphasis on the utilization of such services to provide industry leading manufacturers, sellers and distributors with strategic advice on how to avoid and manage risk throughout the world. He was recognized for his significant work in this area, which has helped bolster markets in which litigation risk is bought and sold.

Falkenberry serves as chair of DLA Piper's Litigation Innovation Committee and a vice-chair of the firm's Innovation Review Board. He is a frequent speaker on data analytics and a leader in quantifying litigation risk.
