DLA Piper is pleased to announce that Managing Partner of the Americas, Stasia Kelly, was named Managing Partner of the Year by Corporate Counsel and InsideCounsel as part of their National Women in Law Awards. Kelly was recognized at a dinner held on October 3 in Washington, DC, as part of the publications' Women, Influence and Power in Law Conference.

In a recent profile of Kelly, the editors noted her efforts to pay it forward to help "young lawyers is a part of her being," and that she has worked extensively on behalf of other women to "advance in their careers."

Kelly has extensive experience as both outside counsel and as a general counsel and brings these perspectives to her practice, working closely with boards of directors, general counsel and in-house legal teams, helping clients design and implement effective governance and compliance programs. She also advises boards and executives on crisis management.
