Ciara McLoughlin Joins DLA Piper’s Employment Practice in Dublin

3/20/19

DLA Piper announced today that Ciara McLoughlin has joined its Global Employment practice as a partner in the firm’s newly opened Dublin office.

McLoughlin focuses her practice on high-value multijurisdictional mergers and acquisitions, as well as working on large-scale change management projects, working closely with boards, human resource departments and in-house legal teams. She also advises on general policy matters related to the management of specific employees and executives.

“Ciara’s ability to provide strategic employment advice to international and domestic clients across all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law allows us to provide increased capabilities for our US clients who need assistance with their cross-border matters within the EU and beyond,” said Brian Kaplan, global co-chair and US chair of DLA Piper’s Employment practice.

Driven by a fast-growing economy, the Irish legal market is rapidly evolving and has entered a new phase of internationalization. As a truly global law firm with an office in Dublin, we are well-positioned as Ireland continues to attract some of the most exciting and innovative companies, particularly in the financial services, life sciences and technology sectors.

McLoughlin joins from Irish law firm, A&L Goodbody, where she had been a partner since 2015.
