NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--International law firm Proskauer announced the arrival of renowned prosecutor Hadassa Waxman as a partner in the Litigation Department and a member of its White Collar Defense & Investigations and Securities Litigation Groups in the New York office.

Ms. Waxman comes to Proskauer from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York where she served as Assistant U.S. Attorney. For the past two years, she has also served as Co-Chief of the General Crimes Unit, supervising approximately 50 AUSAs during their first year in the office. In that role, Ms. Waxman has overseen more than 30 jury trials and more than 1,000 unit cases involving wire fraud, mail fraud, tax fraud, money laundering, cybercrime and corporate criminal liability, among others. She has also tried nine jury trials during her tenure.
Ms. Waxman is an adjunct professor of clinical law at NYU School of Law. She received her B.A. from Brandeis University; a Master of Arts Degree in International Relations from the London School of Economics; and her J.D. from Columbia Law School, where she was a Harlan Fiske Scholar.
