DLA Piper was ranked first out of 200 law firms by marketing consultancy Good2bSocial in its annual Social Law Firm Index, which rates the impact of firms’ digital marketing strategies by scoring and ranking the effectiveness of their efforts in social media across various channels and categories. This was the fifth the time the firm was ranked in the top spot.
DLA Piper also ranked first out of 25 firms for its use of Instagram, where it has more than 5,000 followers and consistently receives high engagement with posts. According to the report, DLA Piper earned top marks for “doing an excellent job focusing on their own people, working together in and out of the office.”
The organization measures law firms’ social media reach, engagement and marketing performance on platforms including Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram. The index analyzes each firm’s presence on the internet and across social media and evaluates their use of social platforms to extend thought leadership content and to engage with clients.
In a profile of DLA Piper, Good2bSocial highlighted the firm’s use of social media to successfully convey its values and brand proposition, as well as to promote the knowledge base of its lawyers in an accessible way.
