DLA Piper announced today that Scott Wilson has joined the firm’s Litigation practice as a partner in the New York office.
Wilson’s practice focuses on government investigations, white collar criminal matters and high-stakes litigation, often with an international component. He has extensive experience advising companies facing cross-border investigations and directing internal investigations in Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and other white collar and regulatory matters, as well as litigating complex business disputes. His clients have included leading US and foreign companies in the consumer goods, sports, banking, asset management, technology and real estate industries.
Wilson’s experience also includes serving as Senior Advisor and Special Counsel in the office of the New York Attorney General, where he helped oversee a wide range of civil and criminal investigations, negotiated high-profile settlements, and served as a liaison to other state and federal agencies in connection with the Residential Mortgage-Backed Securities (RMBS) Working Group. While in government, he served as trial counsel and argued appeals in enforcement proceedings brought under New York's anti-fraud, consumer protection and not-for-profit corporate governance laws.

Wilson, who joins fromBoies Schiller Flexner LLP, received his J.D. from Columbia University School of Law, his A.B. from Harvard College, and a Master in global business law from the Institut d'Études Politique de Paris (Sciences Po) and the Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne.
