DLA Piper announced today that Gabriel Gershowitz has joined the firm's Insurance & Reinsurance practice as counsel in the New York office.
Gershowitz's practice principally focuses on M&A, private equity and other corporate transactions with an emphasis on the insurance sector. His experience includes mainstream corporate/M&A projects in the insurance industry and other sectors and more specialized insurance transactions, including loss portfolio transfers, reinsurance arrangements, renewal rights transactions and the structuring and negotiation of transactional liability insurance policies, including representations and warranties and tax policies. He also has extensive experience in insurance company restructurings and rehabilitations.
