DLA Piper has topped the 2019 league table for law firms in the annual Business News review of corporate finance deals in Western Australia.

DLA Piper was the highest ranked legal adviser for ECM deals, and ranked third for M&A deals, advising on 47 deals worth a combined total of AUD4.5 billion.

Earlier this month, DLA Piper was the highest ranked legal advisor in the world for M&A deal volume for the tenth consecutive year, according to Mergermarket's league tables. The firm was involved in 747 transactions worldwide, valued at approximately USD63 billion.
