2/12/20

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--To raise awareness of its fourth annual Investing for Impact conference, the Economist Events has hired BackBay Communications, a public relations and integrated marketing firm specializing in financial communications, including impact investing, as its PR agency for the event.

“Investing for Impact: 2020 Vision” will be held at Convene at One Liberty Plaza (entrance on 165 Broadway) in New York City on February 13, 2020. The one-day summit returns for a fourth year to take stock during an eventful time for the impact industry, to examine how impact investing can deepen its reach, learn from failures and roadblocks, and leverage the latest developments in technology.

Among the topics to be discussed: how large-scale financial institutions are thinking about their impact ventures, the rising investor appeal of disruptive environmental technologies, from renewable energy to alternative protein, and the alignments between faith-based investing and social impact.
