Sarabraj Thapar Joins Einhorn Barbarito Frost & Botwinick as Counsel in Accidents/Personal Injury Practice

Einhorn, Barbarito, Frost & Botwinick, PC is pleased to announce the addition of certified civil trial attorney Sarabraj S. Thapar as Counsel, in the Accidents/Personal Injury Practice. Thapar was previously with Javerbaum Wurgaft Hicks Kahn Wikstrom & Sinnis where he focused on civil litigation and consumer fraud on behalf of personal injury plaintiffs

Thapar’s prior experience also includes the representation of insurance companies in the defense of motor vehicle accidents and slip and fall injuries. While working for the defense, he received the Bravo Award from Liberty Mutual for his outstanding trial work in 2015 and 2016. On behalf of plaintiffs, Thapar has handled personal and commercial cases related to auto, motorcycle and trucking accidents; bus and train accidents; injuries as a result of drunk drivers; public and private premises liability and slip and fall; dog-bites; and injuries to children. He has negotiated and settled over a million dollars’ worth of cases, participated in numerous bench trials, and has won 23 out of 25 jury trials. Mr. Thapar has been named 2019 Top 10 Attorneys under 40, 2019 & 2020 Super Lawyer – Rising Star, and 2018, 2019 and 2020 Lawyers of Distinction for his work in Civil Litigation.

Thapar earned his J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law in 2011, and his B.A., cum laude, from Rutgers University in 2008. During law school, Thapar interned for Judge Donald Venezia where he handled criminal matters. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey, New York, and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.

A native of West Orange, Thapar has volunteered as a mock trial coach for West Orange High School since 2012. He is also active in the legal profession as a member of the New Jersey Bar Association, Ethics Committee – District VI, the New Jersey Association for Justice, New Jersey State Bar Association, and the Hudson and Essex County Bar Associations. He is also a member of the Sikh American Chamber of Commerce, Punjabi Chamber of Commerce and speaks fluent Hindi.
