Eileen O'Pray Joins DLA Piper's Tax Practice in Northern California

DLA Piper announced today that Eileen O’Pray has joined the firm’s Tax practice as a partner in Northern California, based in the Silicon Valley office.

O’Pray, who will be part of the Transactional sub-group of the Tax practice, focuses on tax matters related to US and cross-border M&A and private equity transactions and investments. She also advises clients on tax aspects of capital markets and other financing transactions. O’Pray previously practiced in-house at Intel Corporation and has extensive experience advising on the tax implications of strategic transactions, including those with a focus on emerging technologies, such as drones, autonomous driving and artificial intelligence.

O’Pray, who joins from Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, received her J.D. from Harvard Law School and her A.B. from Harvard College.
