Mike Bedke
DLA Piper is pleased to announce that Mike Bedke, a Real Estate partner in the firm's Miami office, has received a 2020 Social Impact award from the Daily Business Review.
Bedke was recognized for his role in developing the “No Place Like Home” program offering pro bono assistance to low-income homeowners, his advocacy for a state appropriation providing free legal help to military veterans, and his work preventing the eviction of an elderly disabled woman after her apartment was severely damaged by Hurricane Michael, among other pro bono efforts.
In 2019, he received the Medal of Honor Award from The Florida Bar Foundation, which is the foundation's highest honor and is presented to members of The Florida Bar who have demonstrated their commitment to improving access to justice.
Bedke's practice focuses on all aspects of real estate and commercial financing work. He has significant experience with data center leasing and acquisitions. His clients include institutional lenders, investors, national developers and technology companies.
