11/17/20

The namesake partners of newly rebranded Stenger, Diamond & Glass are all business as they solidify the law firm’s new name. Stopping to celebrate one of the Hudson Valley’s largest multi-practice law groups serving Dutchess, Ulster, Orange, and Putnam Counties and beyond, are, left to right, partners Kenneth M. Stenger, Stephen E. Diamond and Jessica J. Glass.

One of the most prominent law firms in the Hudson Valley has announced that, effective immediately, it will begin operating under a new name: Stenger, Diamond & Glass, LLP. Formerly SRDD Law, the rebranded firm has a more than four-decade legacy of serving the community’s legal needs in Dutchess, Ulster, Orange and Putnam counties, with extension into Westchester County and the Capital Region, as well as Florida and New Jersey.

“It’s an exciting time to be a part of the firm,” said Kenneth M. Stenger, partner at Stenger, Diamond & Glass. “We’ve added strong, talented attorneys with a depth of expertise – and edge – that’s rarely seen in the Hudson Valley. Just as importantly, we are evolving to meet clients’ changing needs and are providing solutions to legal issues they are facing in today’s world.”

Stenger, Diamond & Glass is currently one the largest general practice firms in the region, with a roster of 12 attorneys who provide comprehensive representation to individuals, businesses, municipalities, and institutions. Practice areas include commercial litigation, land use and development, tax grievances, elder law, wills, trusts and estates, commercial and residential lending and transactional real estate, hospitality and liquor licensing, matrimonial and family law, personal injury, criminal law, and more.

“Our firm is unique in that we have multiple practice areas in-house, so clients are able to tap into an array of services without having to use more than one law firm,” said Jessica J. Glass, who joined the firm in 2015 and was named partner earlier this year. “The firm’s strength lies in our expertise and ability to collaborate across practice areas to produce tremendous results for our clients. One example is our work on the Hyatt Place Hotel in Poughkeepsie. We had attorneys from several departments within the firm working in tandem to handle distinct aspects of this project, including land use and development, real estate, construction financing, liquor licensing, tax certification and litigation. We quickly moved the needle on the project to achieve a successful outcome for our client. Not only was this a win for our client, but also for the residents of our county, as the project will generating hundreds of thousands of dollars in economic activity for the area.”

Leadership Team, Next Generation Attorneys

Steering the firm forward, with partners Stenger and Glass, is Stephen E. Diamond,a partner since 2009 alongside Partner Emeritus Albert P. Roberts. The partners attribute their success to the firm’s ideology of supporting its junior attorneys to be the next leaders in their field.

“Under the new management, we continue to grow our close-knit team of attorneys and support staff, and groom our associates for the future, as we did with Jessica,” said Diamond. “Our firm name now accurately reflects the current leadership team and our commitment to the entrepreneurial environment we’re passionate about.”

To make it official, and to celebrate, a socially distant ribbon cutting with elected officials and the leadership teams at the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce and Stenger, Diamond & Glass will be heldon December 11.
