Cybersecurity information services company CyberRisk Alliance (CRA), today announced the appointment of Ellen Daly as Senior VP, Managing Director of CRA Learning, to lead CRA’s rapidly expanding integrated events portfolio. Daly is an innovative and highly creative events executive with a strong background in event strategy and operations, having held leadership roles at experiential marketing agency George P. Johnson, and global media company IDG, including brands such as CIO, CSO and NetworkWorld, among others.
Now in its second year, CyberRisk Alliance has rapidly expanded its events line-up across platforms including SC Media, InfoSec World and Cybersecurity Collaboration Forum. In total, CRA’s 50+ events in 2020 posted record-breaking attendance from its highly coveted cybersecurity professional audience — serving over 400 hours of unique and original programming from CRA staff and a rapidly growing network of the industry’s most prominent experts and practitioners, on broad-ranging topics reflecting the most vital security challenges of the day.
At CRA, Daly will focus on delivering engaging educational content and business intelligence to a rapidly growing community of cybersecurity professionals, driving organic growth from new product launches and maximizing opportunities within the existing portfolio, including integrated solutions that leverage CRA’s scale and product diversity.
Daly commented on the opportunity to impact cybersecurity professionals at such an important time. Daly said, “I am so thrilled to be working with these strong brands during this time of exciting and dynamic growth for CyberRisk Alliance. Cybersecurity has never been as crucial, and I look forward to continue to build on the outstanding live and virtual outreach, education and training this event portfolio provides.”
Daly’s appointment marks another milestone for CRA and accelerates the company’s commitment to serving and strengthening professionals in the cybersecurity community. CyberRisk Alliance CEO and founder, Doug Manoni said, “There is power and strength in working together on the big challenges facing our industry.
