Rachel Ehrlich Albanese, a partner in DLA Piper's Restructuring practice, recently received the New York Institute of Credit Women’s Division’s Executive of the Year Award as part of the organization’s 14th Annual Women in Achievement Awards.
The NYIC Women’s Division Executive of the Year Award recognizes excellence and entrepreneurial spirit. The award is presented to individuals who have achieved noteworthy success in business and have assisted other women in achieving their goals.
Albanese has nearly 20 years of experience representing debtors, secured and unsecured creditors, equity holders, purchasers of distressed assets and other parties in a wide range of restructuring matters, including cases under chapter 11 of the US Bankruptcy Code, out-of-court workouts and cross-border insolvency proceedings, as well as in title III cases under PROMESA, Puerto Rico’s restructuring law.
