Dentons, the world’s largest law firm, today announces the promotion of Rob Condon and Jessica Meylor to partner in its New York City offices. Diora Ziyaeva, also based in New York, was promoted to counsel.

“We are proud to continue the strategic growth of our Firm, both internally with remarkable talent and through our continued combinations,” said Dentons CEO Mike McNamara. “We welcome Rob and Jessica as two of our newest partners, and Diora as counsel, all more than deserving for their dedication to serving our clients and commitment to the New York legal community.”

“Meeting the needs of our clients is always the priority, and the commitment of our promoted lawyers has been no exception to that,” said Salvatore Franco, New York office managing partner. “Rob, Jessica and Diora reflect the best of our team in New York, constantly proving to be leaders within Dentons and the growing New York community.”

Condon, a member of the Firm’s Venture Technology and Emerging Growth Companies group, advises emerging and established companies as well as investment banks and investors in the technology and health care markets. His broad corporate practice includes counseling on public and private securities offerings, venture capital transactions, securities law compliance, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, private equity and corporate governance. Condon has particular experience with the small- and mid-cap markets and the demanding and fast-paced nature of capital-raising transactions in these markets, such as registered direct, confidentially marketed public offerings (CMPO) and private investment in public equity (PIPE) offerings. In addition, he regularly counsels foreign issuers seeking to access the US markets.

Meylor, a member of the Firm’s Capital Markets practice, represents institutional banks as underwriters in connection with the issuance of asset-backed securities and other structured products. She also represents investors in the purchase of subordinate commercial mortgage-backed securities; lenders in the financing and securitization of nontraditional products, such as mortgage servicing advances and triple-net leases; and lenders and borrowers in the securitization of mortgage-backed securities.

Ziyaeva, a member of the Firm’s International Dispute Resolution practice, focuses on international investment arbitration, international commercial arbitration, complex commercial litigation and public international law. Licensed in New York and Uzbekistan and fluent in seven languages, Ziyaeva serves as counsel in a broad range of complex disputes under numerous bilateral/multilateral investment treaties and contracts, successfully handling cases ranging in value from US$10 million to US$20 billion, with experience in energy, oil and gas, mining, telecommunications, construction and aerospace disputes in Latin America, Central Asia, Middle East, Eastern Europe, Oceania and Africa.
