NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Kroll Bond Rating Agency (KBRA) announced today the appointment of Xilun (Xi) Chen to the role of Senior Director within the Commercial ABS group. Xi will be reporting to Anthony Nocera, Managing Director and head of Commercial ABS.

Xi joins from Standard & Poor’s where he spent the last 6 years focusing on various esoteric ABS assets. Prior to his role at Standard & Poor’s, Xi was a Senior Manager at Morgan Stanley providing valuation of credit default swaps (CDS) and correlation products. Xi also held previous positions at Harding Advisory, BlueMountain Capital Management, Ambac and JP Morgan.

At KBRA, Xi will focus on commercial ABS including the ratings of whole business securitizations, aviation, container, PACE, solar, and other transportation leasing assets.
