Lippincott Appoints Chris Colborn as Chief Experience Officer

Lippincott, a global creative consultancy, announced today that Chris Colborn has joined the firm as Chief Experience Officer based in its New York office. Colborn's deep expertise in design, technology and business transformation will accelerate Lippincott's ability to develop the differentiated experiences, products and solutions that drive brand value and business growth. Colborn will join Lippincott's management team and lead the firm's innovation practice.

Colborn has 28 years of experience across brand and business consulting, product and service innovation, marketing, commerce, customer care and loyalty. During a dynamic two decades at R/GA, he was instrumental in helping grow the firm from a small digital studio to a full-service global marketing agency and innovation consultancy. He founded the Experience Design and Experience Strategy disciplines, expanded their global client portfolio as Worldwide Creative Director, and generated groundbreaking brand experiences as Chief Experience Officer. In addition to driving transformation with clients like Bradesco, Beats, Macquarie, McCormick, Nike, Nokia, Samsung and Verizon, among others, Chris also mentored agile startups via the R/GA Venture Studio.

Colborn has been a member of the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences since 2006 and his work portfolio has been recognized globally for its creative and innovation, receiving well over 100 design, product and marketing awards from organizations such as ADDY, AIGA, Art Directors Club, Cannes Lions, CLIO, D&AD, Horizon Interactive, Webby, New York Festival and more.

The move comes at a time when the consulting services industry is shifting significantly, with lines blurring between the previously distinct providers of strategic advisory, technology implementation, innovation and design.
