Farient Advisors, a leading independent executive compensation, performance and governance advisory firm, today announced the appointment of John Trentacoste, Farient partner and Head of Consulting Operations, to the Chief Operating Officer role, effective July 1, 2018. In this role, Mr. Trentacoste will focus on the execution of key Farient market and consulting initiatives across Farient's offices.

Prior to joining Farient, Mr. Trentacoste worked as an associate at Lyons, Benenson & Company (LB&Co.), a compensation consulting firm in New York. Prior to joining LB&Co., Mr. Trentacoste worked in the Global Markets and Banking unit of Citigroup, Inc.

Mr. Trentacoste holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Cornell University and completed a post-baccalaureate business certificate program at Columbia University.
