LionTree LLC, a global investment and merchant banking firm focused on media, technology and telecommunications, today announced the addition of Nick Tuosto to LionTree’s San Francisco office. Mr. Tuosto will work closely with the team in San Francisco, supporting the Firm’s global network across industry sectors and enabling clients to capitalize on emerging opportunities.
Mr. Tuosto joins LionTree with significant investment banking experience, most recently as Managing Director and Global Co-Head of Internet & Digital Media at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and a leading advisor in the video games space. During his tenure at BAML, Mr. Tuosto has provided strategic and financial advice to clients across the technology spectrum with a specialty in interactive media and video games, including those based in the Asian market. Mr. Tuosto’s notable engagements include advising Tencent on its approximately $8.4 billion acquisition of Supercell and Kabam on the $810 million sale of its Vancouver mobile gaming studio to Netmarble, as well as a number of eCommerce and Internet assignments.
