LYNDHURST, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sapphire Digital (formerly Vitals) announced today that the Board of Directors has appointed Kyle Raffaniello as the company’s Interim Chief Executive Officer, replacing Heyward Donigan, who left the company to become the CEO of Rite Aid. Additionally, Bryan Perler has been appointed to the newly created role of Chief Financial & Administrative Officer. These new appointments elevate two experienced company executives to lead and guide the company towards continued growth.

A long-term health care industry veteran, Raffaniello served as Sapphire Digital’s Chief Strategy and Marketing Officer for the past four years. She has over 25 years of experience in the health plan and provider segments. Prior to Sapphire Digital, Raffaniello was the Chief Strategy Officer and Executive Vice President of ValueOptions, a behavioral health company. She was Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing for Consortium Health Plans, an organization focused on national account growth and retention for Blue Cross Blue Shield plans. Raffaniello has also held senior positions at a number of regional health plans, as well as led provider relations at several large medical delivery systems.

Bryan Perler served as the company’s Chief Financial Officer for the past seven years. Prior to Sapphire Digital, he was the CFO and head of Strategy at Benchmark Solutions where he oversaw all strategic, financial and legal activities for the company. Perler also worked at Tradeweb Markets in accounting, finance and business development roles of increasing responsibility, including Director of U.S. Strategy and Business Development.
