Private event for healthcare cybersecurity executives comes amidst new cybercriminal threats to care providers

CyberRisk Alliance (CRA), a business intelligence company serving the cybersecurity and information risk management marketplace, today announced the agenda and speaker line-up for its inaugural National Healthcare Technology & Security eForum, held over two days, November 5-6.CRA’s Cybersecurity Collaboration Forum is producing the event.

The unique invitation-only conference brings together 150 senior cybersecurity leaders from healthcare institutions nationwide, to work together on some of the most critical challenges facing their organizations. The National Healthcare Technology & Security eForum comes as cybercriminal targeting of medical provider networkshas been on the rise during the coronavirus pandemic. An October 20 advisory from the FBI, and U.S. Department of Homeland Security warned medical institutions of an imminent ransomware and data theft threat from a known Russian cybercriminal gang. A recent wave of attacks has infected hospitals coast to coast.
