Stephen Buente
Stephen Buente has been named a senior supervising engineer in the Lawrenceville, New Jersey office of WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, a global engineering and professional services organization.
In his new position, Mr. Buente will manage multidisciplinary infrastructure projects and business development in the New Jersey region.
Mr. Buente previously served for 25 years with the New Jersey Turnpike Authority, most recently as supervising engineer for planning and environmental projects. He was responsible for preliminary engineering and preparation of the environmental impact statement for the $2.5 billion widening of the turnpike from interchanges 6 to 9.
A licensed professional engineer in New Jersey, Mr. Buente received a B.S.C.E. from Pennsylvania State University. His professional affiliations include the American Society of Civil Engineers and the American Society of Highway Engineers.
