Seven Tenants Sign Deals Totaling Over 47,500 SF at SGS-Owned Property

Avison Young, the world’s fastest-growing commercial real estate services firm, and the new owners of 1000 Lafayette Blvd., Shelbourne Global Solutions, LLC, announce the closing of eight deals totaling more than 47,500 square feet at the Class A office building in Bridgeport, CT.

Avison Young was named exclusive agent at the property in the Summer of 2016. Principal and Managing Director of Avison Young’s Fairfield/-Westchester office Sean Cahill and Vice President Lori Baker were tasked with marketing over 70,000 square feet of available space at the 11-story, 215,000-square-foot Class A office building, located in the heart of Bridgeport’s central business district.

Eight leases were recently signed totaling 47,545 square feet. COWI, a leading marine, coastal and geotechnical engineering consulting firm, has signed a new lease for 8,204 square feet. Other new tenants include law firms White Rose and Ryan Ryan & Deluca, Beacon Health Options, and IDT Telecom, a pioneer in prepaid and VolP telephony. The law firm of Zeldes Needle Cooper and CASCO Products Corporation, a global tier-I electronics supplier, also renewed their leases at 1000 Lafayette.

Additional availabilities at 1000 Lafayette Boulevard include one full floor of approximately 23,000 square feet, as well as partial floors ranging from 4,000 to 8,300 square feet. The property, built in 1989 and renovated in 2012, is GSA approved and features onsite property management, a full-service café, fitness center with locker rooms, training and conference facilities, and nearly 500 covered parking spaces.
