Bohemia Realty Group, the premier residential and commercial, sales and leasing brokerage in Upper Manhattan and the Bronx, will host the fifth of its monthly educational workshops on Wednesday May 24th, 7- to 8 p.m., at La Maison d’Art, 259 West 132nd Street. Entitled “Preparing Your Home for Sale,” the event is open to the public at no charge and will feature guest experts Gary Catchpole of GEC Design Group, and Carole Healey of Design For Living. Moderating the conversation will be leading Bohemia Realty Group brokers Susan Molloy and Don Burroughs.
“When selling a home or an apartment, owners are traditionally advised to go ‘neutral’ and remove personal items, such as photos and knick-knacks,” points out Sarah Saltzberg, co-founding principal of the real estate brokerage. “But Gary and Carole are ready to show us there is more than one design route to a successful sale.”
Adds Ms. Molloy, “The personality of a room is often a sales driver, so tips from professional designers and stagers can literally pay off in the end. Our guest speakers will provide a realistic perspective on what to and what not to do when putting your home on the market.”
Attendance to the event is free, but RSVP’s are required because of limited space. Reserve a seat online athttps://preparing-your-
The next free workshop in the series, “Investing in Real Estate,” is planned for Wednesday, June 28, and will also be held at private art gallery La Maison d’Art.
