New Co-Working Spaces Open at 55 Broadway and 60 Broad Street
Spector Group, a New York-based global architecture, interiors and master planning firm, recently unveiled the design for two new co-working spaces for Bond Collective (previously known as Cowork|rs) located in New York City’s Financial District, at 60 Broad Street, and 55 Broadway.
The 60 Broad Street space, among Bond Collective’s largest locations, comprises two 20,000 square-feet floors, conveniently connected with a public stairway to ensure easy access between the two. Spector Group created a comfortable, yet premium atmosphere by incorporating plush furniture and small gathering spaces outside of the offices. High-end materials, including acoustic fabrics, luxury vinyl tiles and a glass wall system, are employed throughout. The large suites range in size, with the largest accommodating 25+ people and the most premium including a personal conference room or an executive area.
“We wanted to design a space that is comfortable and functional but also evokes the level of exclusivity and personalization that Bond Collective is known for,” said Marc Spector, AIA, NCARB, principal of The Spector Group.
At Bond Collective’s second FiDi location, 55 Broadway, Spector Group designed more than 20,000-square-feet of sleek private offices and communal areas spanning two floors. The design brings together sleek minimalism and the coziness of a boutique hotel through the use of luxe fabrics, old world finishes, concrete floors and glass pained hallways.
Spector Group also designed a 6,300-square-foot versatile event space at this location, branded as “The Mezzanine” or “The Mezz.” This elegant yet contemporary space can easily transform to cater to a large variety of events, accommodating up to 350 guests. The design features modern bleacher-style seating, surround sound audio, LCD screens and designer furniture. The oversized chandeliers, high ceilings, and green wall above the bleacher add to the elegant ambiance of the versatile space.
“When approaching the design for the Mezzanine, we looked for multifaceted options that would easily allow the space to transform and function for a variety of events,” said Spector.
With their recent company rebrand, Bond Collective is excited to share these new locations that truly reflect their member-centric, hospitality-driven focus. The new locations offer entrepreneurs, professionals and innovators of all kinds an exclusive and elegant space that fits their needs with premium services allowing them to truly focus on their core business.
