CBRE's Jacqueline Novotny Named to FCBJ 40-Under-40

Jacqueline Novotny, a Vice President with CBRE’s Westchester/Fairfield operations and one of the brightest young stars in the real estate industry, has been recognized by the Fairfield County Business Journal as one of the year’s 40-Under-40 honorees. One of the few female executives in the commercial real estate business, Ms. Novotny oversees the leasing of over 1.4 million square feet within Fairfield and Westchester County. She represents some of the largest landlord’s in the area including SLGreen and Keystone Property Group, as well as major institutional owner Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation.

Ms. Novotny joined CBRE in 2013 as an associate and quickly rose up the ranks. While CBRE’s corporate guidelines establish a five-year threshold of employment in the firm to achieve this position, her extensive accomplishments within a short period of time, helped her achieve the title of Vice President in just three years.

In addition to her agency work, Ms. Novotny is active in a number of tenant representation assignments, currently overseeing the real estate portfolios for Xylem Inc. and Leukemia Lymphoma Society. Xylem has over 10 million square feet of real estate globally, with over 365 locations. The Leukemia Lymphoma Society has over 80 locations throughout North America. She also oversees leasing for The Edge Fitness Clubs portfolio in Connecticut. During her career, she has represented a number of notable companies including, Bank of New York Mellon, Lasik Vision Institute, Post Road Properties, Prudential Insurance Company, Puma Capital, TitleSource, Verizon Wireless and WillCare.

Ms. Novotny is on the Real Estate Breakfast Committee for the March of Dimes and is an active volunteer for The Carver Foundation in Norwalk, CT. She is on the development committee for the Carver Foundation, involved in the organization’s fundraising efforts. She has recently accepted the position of co-chair of The Carver Foundation’s annual gala in 2017. Jacqueline also volunteers for Pony Rides for a Purpose, an organization started by a close family friend honoring the memory of Jessica Rekos, one of the young victims of Sandy Hook.
