Offering a variety of craft beers and prepared foods, Mekelburg’s is the anchor tenant of the Domino Sugar factory project that is being developed by Two Trees Management. This will be the second location for the specialty shop which originated in Brooklyn’s Clinton Hill neighborhood. It will open in Williamsburg in a 4,200-square-foot space, which will include a shop, bar and restaurant, at the corner of South Third Street and Kent Avenue. The Mekelburg’s building is one of five at the Domino Sugar Factory development, which is expected to open this summer. When completed, the $3 billion project will include 2,800 residential units and 500,000 square feet of commercial space.
