WHAT: In the third installment of Stellar Management’s artist series, New Yorkers and visitors alike will have the chance to watch a 20 by 14 foot-tall vibrant mural come to life on the side of One SoHo Square during a free, live art creation in Manhattan’s SoHo and Hudson Square border.
Argentinian-Spanish artist Felipe Pantone will begin painting the blank canvas on Tuesday, June 13 at noon and will complete the futuristic masterpiece by Thursday, June 15. During this time, people are encouraged to stop by to interact with the artist, watch him create and to take photos to share on social media (tag @FelipePantone and use #OneSoHoSq). Pantone’s work is said to be on the cutting edge of street art, overlapping classic graffiti with modern abstraction in an aesthetic complimentary of the City’s innovation. The final work will be showcased in the public space for the summer season.
As part of this ongoing series, Stellar Management will feature a fourth talented artist for a live installment in the coming months.
WHEN: Tuesday, June 13 to Thursday, June 15, 12PM – 5PM

About the Artist: Felipe Pantone
Felipe Pantone is an Argentinian-Spanish artist. He started doing graffiti at the age of 12. He graduated with a Fine Art degree in Valencia (Spain) where his studio is based. Felipe travels the world ceaselessly with his art. His work has been exhibited all over Europe, America, Australia, and Asia.
"Felipe Pantone’s work is at the cutting edge of street art. Straddling conventional graffiti, typography and abstraction, his work fuses bold elements of graphic design with highly evolved geometric shapes to create an ultra-modern aesthetic which complements and reacts with the stark modernity of our cityscapes.
Drawing on our concerns of the digital age and the speed at which technology is developing, Pantone’s art is like looking several light years ahead into the future and discovering a new language in which to communicate."
