-- Allied Maker will be opening its first Manhattan location in one-of-a-kind cast iron loft building at 81 Franklin Street in Tribeca –
Eastern Consolidated’s Retail Leasing Division has arranged a 10-year, 1,400-square-foot ground floor lease at 81 Franklin Street in Tribeca that will be transformed into a gallery and showroom for Allied Maker, a high-end designer and manufacturer of lighting products for residential and commercial use.
James Famularo, Senior Director and Principal of Eastern Consolidated, exclusively represented the landlord for the space, which also includes a 150-square-foot mezzanine and 900-square-foot lower level. The tenant was represented by Jonathan Travis and Alex Bush of Redwood Property Group.
“This is Allied Maker’s first gallery and showroom in Manhattan and the company couldn’t have picked a better space in which to showcase its collection of unique lighting fixtures than on the ground floor of this one-of-a-kind cast iron loft building on a prominent Tribeca block,” Famularo said. “The high ceilings and natural light pouring in from the windows that span across 30 feet of frontage will allow the company to highlight its unique designs in the middle of one of the fastest growing residential areas in New York City.”
Famularo has negotiated a number of leases in Tribeca and was instrumental in changing Reade Street into a kid-friendly block by arranging leases for Jacadi, Livly, Reade Street Prep Academy, Miss Rachel’s Ballet School, and the Language Center.
With a population of 61,000 residents that have an average household income of $214,000, Lower Manhattan is thriving and continuing to grow as new developments rise throughout. The retail space is located near New York Law School, Crunch Tribeca, Harley-Davidson of New York City, Black Burger, Dyenamix, Gourmet Garage, and Café Lafayette, as well as accessible to transportation via the 1, 6, A, C, E, J, Z, N, Q, trains.
