Renaissance Announces New Office Location in New York City

12/18/17

Renaissance®, the leader in pre-K-12 learning analytics, announces the opening of a new office in New York City's EdTech Factory, a hub for edtech companies and startups. The new Manhattan location, at 860 Broadway, is now home to a growing Renaissance team in the New York City area. This is the 10th location for the global organization, which has additional offices in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., and Australia.

The Renaissance New York City team is moving from its former offices in Brooklyn to a larger space at the EdTech Factory located in Union Square. The additional room will allow Renaissance the opportunity to expand its footprint in New York with exceptional talent in psychometrics, engineering, human resources, strategic partnerships and more.

"Moving into the EdTech Factory puts Renaissance in the heart of the city's growing edtech scene," says Daniel Hamburger, chief executive officer at Renaissance. "The office features a collaborative, flexible work environment with open team space, high-tech conference rooms and an environment that fosters Renaissance's culture and value of teamwork."

Among the companies located in the EdTech Factory is the building's anchor tenant, The Noodle Companies, a studio that helps connect learners, educators, and providers of educational resources. The Noodle Companies was founded and is led by Renaissance board member John Katzman.

The new location will enable Renaissance to evolve and improve upon its line of education solutions for assessment as well as reading and math practice. These solutions include Renaissance Star Assessments®, Renaissance Accelerated Reader 360®, Renaissance Accelerated Math®, and the company's recently-announced assessment-driven instruction solution, Renaissance Flow 360®.

Many of Renaissance's New York City-based team members have played an integral role in the development of Renaissance Flow 360 and the Renaissance Growth Alliance™, a collaboration that brings best-in-class instruction into Renaissance Flow 360.

In conjunction with NY EdTech Week, and to celebrate the opening of the new space, Renaissance is hosting a welcome reception on December 18 for New York City-based partners who have helped the organization expand its solution set.
