Lee NYC Welcomes Five New Agents

Junior brokers join elite mentorship program at commercial firm

The retail and office leasing divisions at Lee & Associates NYC LLC grew rapidly during the second half of this year. Among others, the firm has hired five promising young brokers whose talent will be honed by their managers in an elite mentorship program.

The KT Group, headed by Mark Kapnick and Greg Tannor, welcomed Mike Watson who will assist the group with retail leasing. Watson was previously an independent contractor and consultant for the oil and gas industry based in Dallas and Houston.

John Cannon has added Sergio Turaev to his team, specializing in office leasing. Turaev’s background is in retail sales, most recently at Allen Edmonds where he was responsible for generating over $7.5 million in sales. His sales ability and personality was so impressive to the team at Lee they specifically recruited him for the job.

Rounding out the group, Dennis Someck and Justin Myers have added Aidan Velle, Alexander Pisacane, and Conor Krup to their office leasing team. Velle is an Upper West Side native whose professional background has included sales in the energy and family healthcare industries. Pisacane comes from a technology-based sales background. He previously worked for Yelp, where he served as an account executive. Krup has worked as a sales manager at the Krowne Metal Corporation, and recently completed NYU’s Real Estate Acquisition and Ownership course.

Each new addition will be mentored by a senior broker, shadowing that broker and working with them closely to learn the skills that have made their mentor such a success. Someck and Myers will also lead a training program for their group which will include specific lessons on everything from learning the landscape, to canvassing, contract negotiations, and meeting owners and occupying tenants.
