Newmark Knight Frank (NKF) is pleased to announce that it has hired Plaza District specialist Aaron Kaufman as an associate director to join the NKF team of Executive Managing Director Robert Emden and Managing Director David Emden at the firm’s New York City office.
Kaufman has joined NKF’s New York City office to augment the Emden team with his deep expertise in Manhattan’s Plaza District and in Rockefeller Center. Throughout his career, he has been active in the community and has lived in the Plaza District - even working in Rockefeller Center early on - offering a unique perspective that has informed the deals he has completed in the area. He will be focusing on a wide range of transactions, including both tenant and landlord representation. Kaufman previously spent time at Transwestern, Vicus Partners, and Tishman Speyer, where he actively managed over one million square feet of Class A office space, including 630 Fifth Avenue, 30 Rockefeller Plaza (the GE Building), and Radio City Music Hall.

Kaufman has previously been named to Commercial Observer’s “30 Under 30” list, and is a member and former board member of the Young Men’s/Women’s Real Estate Association (YMWREA), as well as the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY).
