1/24/18

James Panczykowski

JLL has hired industrial expert James Panczykowski as a senior vice president with its Northeast Industrial Region. He will focus on new business development, corporate portfolio management, tenant representation and agency leasing, and investment sales, primarily in New York and Connecticut. Panczykowski will be based out of the firm’s Stamford, Conn., office, and will report to David Knee, executive managing director and broker lead for the Northeast Industrial Region.

Panczykowski, 36, has more than 11 years of experience in commercial real estate, primarily focused on the sale and leasing of major industrial and special-use assets for corporations and individual owners in New York and Connecticut. He also has expertise in corporate services work, including portfolio management.

“James Panczykowski has a deep background in transactional services and corporate portfolio management for industrial owners throughout the Northeast,” said Knee. “He will serve a crucial role in expanding the breadth of strategic services JLL provides to its clients in New York and Connecticut.”

Prior to joining JLL, Panczykowski was a senior vice president with Binswanger Co., delivering transactional and strategic business solutions to publicly traded and privately held companies throughout the Northeast. Before that, he was a regional manager with Comcast Network Sales and an account executive with The Golf Channel.

Panczykowski earned a bachelor’s degree from Wesleyan University in Middletown, Conn. He is a licensed real estate broker in Connecticut, Massachusetts and New York, and a licensed real estate salesperson in Pennsylvania.

Panczykowski served as a commissioner with the Fair Rent Commission of the city of New Haven, Conn., from 2012 to 2015. He was also a professional hockey player with the Missouri River Otters in St. Charles, Mo. While in college, he was awarded the Joe Concannon Memorial Award, which is awarded to the best American-born Division III college hockey player in New England.

JLL formed its Northeast Industrial Region in early 2017, combining its industrial brokerage operations in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania into a single region. The firm merged its industrial business lines to better serve clients that increasingly viewed the industrial sector in all three states as one large interconnected market. The Northeast Industrial Market comprises approximately 1.54 billion square feet of industrial space, and represents the largest industrial market in the United States.
