Chipotle Mexican Grill has signed a lease at 72 West 125th Street, just off of Lenox Avenue, capping off a years-long search for the ideal central Harlem location. The restaurant, which measures 2,500 square feet on the ground floor, is expected to open in the first half of 2018.
“This is where we wanted to be, at the axis of 125th Street and Lenox, where you have the best balance of office workers, shoppers, residents, students and transit users,” said Winick Realty Group Executive Vice President Kenneth Hochhauser, Chipotle’s exclusive retail broker for Manhattan.
Hochhauser represented Chipotle Mexican Grill in the long-term lease transaction while Eugene Fata and Roberto Fata of Fata Properties represented the landlord in-house.
