Michael Okun has joined Cresa, the world’s largest commercial real estate firm solely advising tenants, as a principal of the New York office. A 15-year veteran of the industry, he has spearheaded strategic planning and managed leasing programs for such prominent tech clients as Bowery Farming, Comixology, PulsePoint, WeWork, Buddy Media, and Operative; media firms Bisnow and Rock Shrimp Productions; fashion company Ikeddi; and acclaimed M/WBE construction company, McKissack & McKissack. In his new position, Mr. Okun will be joined by his original team from Coldwell Banker Commercial Advisors, Daniel Taormina and Richard Shames, both serving as vice presidents at Cresa.

At his previous firm, Mr. Okun received the Number One Sales Professional distinction, and was honored with a Silver Circle of Distinction Award every year, from 2010 to 2016. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and Law from Lafayette College. Mr. Okun resides in Harrison, NY with his wife and four children.
