Wild Sports Acquires KanJam

Wild Sports, a portfolio company of Expedition Capital Partners, Centerfield Capital Partners and Cardinal Equity Partners, is pleased to announce the acquisition of KanJam, LLC. KanJam is a leading manufacturer of backyard, beach and party games best known as the inventor and pioneer of the disc sport KanJam under its flagship brand. The Company has expanded its portfolio into an array of complementary products across the general sporting goods and games sectors. KanJam founders Charlie Sciandra and Mitch Rubin invested into Wild Sports and will remain involved helping build the newly combined businesses.

Wild Sports is a leading manufacturer and provider of licensed and branded tailgating, homegating and outdoor games including Wild Sports Tailgate Toss, Authentic Cornhole and multiple styles of tailgating tables in addition to thirty other indoor and outdoor games.

“This acquisition fortifies our company as the leading outdoor and tailgating games company. KanJam adds youthful, successful products to an already strong portfolio,” said Todd Hines, Co-CEO for Wild Sports LLC. “KanJam’s success internationally also opens the door for other Wild Sports products and we plan on taking advantage of those newly acquired relationships.”

Wild Sports continues its dramatic growth through innovation and the introduction of new games while leveraging its world class licensing portfolio, which includes the National Football League, Major League Baseball, National Hockey League and over 350 colleges and universities. Wild Sports plans to roll out new games in the KanJam family, as well as apply its licensing portfolio across existing KanJam games.
