OTJ Architects welcomes Jeff Gillway, Associate, AIA, to its New York City studio. In his new position, Mr. Gillway will serve as a project architect, overseeing the production of drawings and coordinating construction administration. Prior to joining OTJ, Mr. Gillway was a project designer at Skidmore, Owings, and Merrill. Before that, he was based in Phoenix and Omaha where he gained additional architectural experience working on residential, office, cultural and healthcare projects.

“Jeff’s far reaching background will serve him well as a member of our innovative and dynamic team,” says OTJ Managing Partner Lance Jaccard, AIA, IIDA, LEED AP. “He has a wealth of technical skills to draw on and is an absolute pleasure to work with on a personal level as well.”

Mr. Gillway is a graduate of the M.Arch program at The Design School at Arizona State University. As part of his studies, he was awarded design internships at such progressive architecture firms as CRAB Studio in London, Miralles Tagliabue EMBT in Barcelona, and Morphosis in New York. At these studios, Mr. Gillway learned everything from furniture design to model building.

For recreation, Mr. Gillway enjoys sailing and snowboarding.
