CBRE announced that executive vice president, Thomas Monahan, was the top industrial professional in the Americas for 2017, a first for New Jersey. Completing more than 50 transactions for an aggregate value of more than half a billion dollars, Tom set a national pace for value creation on behalf of CBRE clients, including a 923,000 sq. ft. lease in Edison, New Jersey on behalf of Seagis Property Group, and a 718,200 sq. ft. lease in Perth Amboy, New Jersey on behalf of Bridge Development. Tom also earned overall top performance honors in New Jersey for the third consecutive year.

Since January, he has represented Murray Construction in its recent 404,000 sq. ft. lease with Bergen Logistics, and Duke Realty in their 354,250 sq. ft. lease with 4PX Express USA. On the tenant side of business, Tom and his team represented CEVA Freight in a new long-term 95,640 sq. ft. lease at an industrial facility in Piscataway, New Jersey.

Mr. Monahan has been recognized year after year by the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR)—the industry’s leading consortium of industrial and office real estate professionals—as the region’s top industrial sales producer.
