JRM Construction Management (JRM) is pleased to announce it has completed construction of a new cellar space for Estiatorio Milos’ catering facility, as well as a full renovationof the existing street level restaurant at 125 W 55th Street in New York City. JRM workedwith Alain Carle Architecte and Henderson Engineersto construct both the cellar space andrestaurant without hindering Estiatorio Milos’ daily operations.
Precise Coordination for a Functional, Polished Result
JRM coordinated the efforts of the sub-contractors and vendors hired by the restaurant to complete the extensive work. The end result is a refined, elegant space, complete with venetian plaster throughout, Greek marble floors and bar tops and elegant Dinesen wood plank flooring from Denmark.
The first-floor renovations, featured the construction of a new kitchen, and the installation of new equipment, a new bar, stairs, wood plank flooring, lighting and high-end finishes throughout. JRM kept the two-levels connected by installing a steel and marble spiral staircase with recessed lighting at stair treadsas well asa passenger elevator and freight elevator. A complete Lutron System was installed throughout the cellar and first floor.
