Laura Hemberger, Ph.D. joins The Gate as the agency’s first Director of Media Analytics, according to Beau Fraser, president of the agency.

Ms. Hemberger will be responsible for overseeing the analytics and reporting discipline across all clients at The Gate. Her mandate is to evolve the agency’s analytic service by bringing the rigor of academia to marketing and media in order find greater meaning and insight from client data.

Ms. Hemberger joins the agency after having spent seven years as a Research Assistant with the Education for Thinking Project at Teachers College, Columbia University. Prior to that, she served in a similar position for two and one-half years

As a Research Assistant in the EG Lab: Behavioral and Molecular Genetics as part of the EG Lab: Behavioral and Molecular Genetics as part of the Child Study Center at the Yale School of Medicine. Ms. Hemberger began her career as a Behavior & Academic Mastery classroom teacher at Northside ISD in San Antonio, Texas.

A Graduate of Trinity University with a BA Degree in Psychology and a Masters Degree in Special Education and Teaching, Ms. Hemberger received her Masters Degree and Doctor of Philosophy Degree form Columbia University in New York City.
